“ My friends and I were impressed with the freshness of the seafood and crispness of beer batter. We ordered the fish and chips, went for with snapper and barramundi, and added calamari on the side. Loved the snapper but felt the barramundi was a bit mushy and earthy. We gave our feedback to staff. At first, they mentioned that their fish was fresh. However, the boss, Mr Kia overheard our conversation and came forward to intervene. He listened to our comments attentively; was not defensive at all, and patiently explained to us that it could be the cut or part of the fish that had the texture and taste we didn’t like. He immediately change a new serving for us, and true enough; it was much better and suited our taste. It was an overall pleasant and good experience, and we were appreciative of the excellent service and quality of the food. Would definitely be back again and recommend this place to others. “ First of all, great services. All the staff were polite, attentive and friendly. They saw that we finished the tartar sauce, and they proactively asked if we need another. Saw they did the same to other patrons as well. Also, offered water if you don't want to order any drinks. However, the chocolate brownies could be better. The brownies were too hard, and the ice-cream seems to be of low quality. It didn't melt even after cutting it into pieces. Ordered the seafood galore (battered) which had everything seafood related. The seafood were fresh. The batter was nicely done, tasted good. It was quite neutral so that you can dip into your favorite sauce. The vinegar was taste quite special. Would recommend you try to put a little. Prices were affordable considering the good quality and services. Credit card accepted here. ”

“ Each time when we have a family gathering or special occasion we definitely will visit Blue Reef. Its suitable for all ages and its fresh and good. Service is friendly and prompt. “ The best fish and chips in Malaysia! I've personally between dozens of fish and chips shops in Malaysia, Australia, UK and had everything from your local corner Western kopitiam to RM300 fish dishes in the UK and can quite simply say this is the best I've ever tasted in my life! Forget cod, get the barramundi, it's superbly delicious, the beer batter is flavourful and coats it perfectly without being too oily, the portion sizes are incredible, you don't even need to order a starter! The fries are well seasoned, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside! The salad is average and that's good, no heavy sauces, tartare sauce is decent, nothing exceptional but oh my goodness the fish, it was make me shake my head in disbelief and smiling from first bite till late, no joke haha! The atmosphere is chill and welcoming, staff is super friendly and the environment is clean and they even give free water with lemon if you ask for it, which I thought could help cutting down on the fattiness of the fish and batter but these chefs are brilliant as they can cook without making it too oily. “ Made a reservation via WhatsApp. Caught in a traffic & arrived 15mins late. Table is ready & the staff was very helpful. Explain about the ingredients & recommended a replacement ingredient. Ordered a breaded seafood platter (snappper), a calamari plate & a halibut plate. The halibut & calamari were great. The snapper was a bit dry. The mushroom soup, side salads & potatoes chips were great too. The tartar sauce was good. ”

“ Blue Reef Fish & Chips located at TTDI is a lovely cafe to enjoy decent fish & chips. Price wise is above average cafe but overall experience worth it. The service was good and staff are very friendly & attentive. However, the smoked salmon carbonara is over creamy and did not taste great. Smoke salmon portion is stingy and therefore not worth the price of RM40. The seafood gratin is really delicious too and would definitely visit again. ”
